Welcome to DowCity.com

I have been running DowCity.com since 1996.  It was one of my first web projects.  At the time I had big plans for the site.  New site designs, local news, technology updates, photos and new family kept me very busy.  So here we are, 14 years and two kids later.  The site may not have been all that I had hoped, but I enjoy keeping in touch with folks and am glad I can provide a place that people can visit to get the latest info on things happening in Dow City, Iowa. 

I don't live in Dow City anymore, so I rely on others to provide me with info.  We have always tried to present news on the annual Alumni Banquet, and now hope to present news and events for the Dow City Business Club.

As always if you have an event that you want posted, send me the info with enough lead time that I can add it to the site.  I am always surprised how many visitors we get monthly.  It is great that so many people are interested in what is happening in Dow City, Iowa.
